Combination of GE HealthCare CEM and the non-wire Sirius Pintuition® system in breast cancer patients treated with NAC
Non-wire probe guided localization systems have been replacing wires. The opportunity to place these new markers in NAC patients upfront the start of the therapy and months before the surgery improve both surgeon and radiology schedules as well as patient satisfaction. Imaging technique as CEM can be used to monitor response to NAC and is fully compatible with those markers.
